Dia De Los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) is a Mexican festival celebrating the lives of those who have passed on. Instead of mourning, families gather at graveyards to share food, give blessings and dance with their deceased relatives. For a party where more than half the guests are ghosts, it’s a killer shindig!
People make special treats for the festival, including skull-shaped loaves of bread and ‘sugar skull’ candies – sugar cookies decorated with elaborate swirls and dots.
We’ve got some special treats for your feet – these Big Muertos skull knee-high socks are decorated with grinning skulls and Mexican designs. If you’ve got a goth in your life who deserves a treat, or you just want some cheery skulls to tickle your toes, then these socks are just the ticket.
